Staying in your lane… How to do it👇 We all know we should do it but sometimes it can be hard, here are some simple things that can help you with this: — Set YOUR specific goals — Your goals = your actions, efforts and process Their goals = their actions, efforts and process If you don’t have clear, specific goals then you’re likely going to get pulled in multiple directions as you don’t have a set destination - so make sure you have specific goals set, otherwise you’ll focus on every ‘shinny’ thing you see! — Establish a PATHWAY to those goals — Once you have a specific goal, create stepping stones or regular checkpoints what will help you stay on YOUR path. Set mini goals, that when achieved, reassure you that you’re doing the right things, this progress can help drown out other noise and ultimately help you focus on your process and keep you moving forward. — Only YOU are in your situation — This is obvious, but if only you are living in your situation; with your commitments, priorities and struggles, then focussing on what someone else is doing is not going to help you. They’ll have their own reasons for doing what they’re doing so trusting that your process is the best for you and your circumstances will keep you on your path. If you struggle with this then take some time to make sure you’re ticking off all the above - consistently executing them all will play a massive role in helping you stay in your lane and ultimately living a better life overall.
