Bob Mortimer appeared on Taskmaster in Series 5 (2017) and is widely considered one of the funniest contestants in the show’s history. His comedy style is very surreal and unpredictable, so many of his task attempts made no sense but were still brilliant to watch. He often told bizarre stories during the studio segments, and the other contestants and Greg Davies sometimes couldn’t tell whether he was joking or telling the truth. One of his most famous moments was the “Rosalind is a nightmare” song task, where he and Sally Phillips wrote and performed a completely chaotic song about someone named Rosalind, which became one of the most memorable Taskmaster moments ever. Another famous moment was when he had to disguise himself and he wore a strange homemade mask that barely worked but still somehow completed the task.
