Day one in temporary council accommodation. I’m a single mum and after eight months of living with my ex, my son and I have finally started our council housing journey. It’s not where I imagined we’d be — but it’s where we are right now. Today was mostly cleaning and trying to make this small space feel safe and familiar for him.
