UN-Belize-able!!! 🏝️🐚🐠 Our first time to this magical island and won’t be the last!! 🏖️ Itinerary included: HOU ➡️ SAN PEDRO and spent two nights at the lovely @VictoriaHousebz and then headed to ➡️ CAYO ESPANTO @aprivateisland 🩵 Cayo Espanto is a fabulous private island off the coast of San Pedro, Belize (there are only 7 villas on the island and we were in Casa Aurora! For those who asked!)! It was a literal dream! 💫 Private villa with our own beach, pool and deck! All-inclusive with your very own wait staff and personal chef for all meals, snacks and drinks! 💦🍽️🍹Let’s just say we were spoiled rotten!! 😍 5-star all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It was absolutely heavenly and I’m sure not ready for reality! 🤣 Adventures to the max with this crew, which included snorkeling hot spots: Mexico rocks, Hol Chan, and (a family-fav) Shark Alley!! 🦈🐠🦀🛥️🤿 Other must-do excursions we loved was spear fishing, Hobie cat-ing, conch hunting, fly-fishing, kayaking, water trampolining and the stargazing at night was beyond!!! 🎣👙🦞💕🌌 ✨Couldn’t do any of this without the most fabulous travel agent ever! We found another island with basically no cars- our favorite kind of island (especially with little ones!) 😃 Although the golf carts might get you, it’s more or less no cars. Which means you can basically let your kids run free👍. It’s not exactly a secret, but Caye Caulker, Belize is definitely somewhere worth putting on your list—especially if you love the ocean. 🦈Nurse sharks, stingrays, manatees, sea turtles, and leaping off diving boards into cerulean waters with reggae tunes in the background. 🐟It’s walking down roads made entirely of sand, and ordering plates of conch ceviche while pelicans roost on the restaurant’s dock, as tarpon circle below. It’s watching the sun rise and set in the same day, and lounging in a hammock or oceanfront swing, and not even feeling guilty about it, because your “to do” list disappeared when you got here. It’s lime green houses and turquoise lagoons and soft white sand on your feet. It’s the reason you wanted to come to Belize, and if you haven’t yet, then you should.
