#OnThisDay, February 16, 1964, The Beatles made their second appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. The show was broadcast at 8 PM from the Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. The Beatles performed six songs in front of 2,600 audience members, and the rehearsal at 2 PM was also filmed but not broadcast. This second appearance nearly duplicated the record-setting performance of their first appearance.
