Dear Frankie, Us dads love surprises (well one of us does 🙊)….so when you heard Ed Sheeran was coming to Auckland, you begged to go. Naturally I said no, you’ll have to work to earn money so you can go next time, but secretly I was trying to suss tickets as I wanted to go too 😂 Thanks to our Instagram fam I managed to buy remaining tickets at the last minute and decided to surprise you with our first ever live music concert! And wow what a concert! It was so so good, and we all had the best time, singing and dancing along. It was banger after banger from the man himself, and you absolutely loved it! As did I. We love that you’re so into music (well, some music because there’s definitely some questionable song choices that sound like broken speakers!)… But this passion is certainly something we want to nurture (oh how I’d love a performer in the family….doing actual performances rather than the home stage shows 😂). One concert down, so many to go! Love from your dads xx

When I heard Ed Sheeran was playing in Brisbane, I was like this is it am going to this concert. This is a concert dedicated to my daughter, all my struggles to push through where I am today. The days when I was told I had no background, no family, no backing…what breaks us makes us!! Ed Sheeran brought me back to year when I had to stay home to look after my daughter when the mother went to work. I’d play Ed Sheeran full blast so she could sleep through the day and we have our routine, while I was playing FIFA on my Xbox360 Sitting through this concert and see how far I’ve come, God has a plan for everyone.

Just found out last week that TO THE END has been on high rotation on Switzerland’s largest radio station @srf3. Crazy! The song is about heart-led community, a proclamation of love and commitment to the one’s you hold closest… And if you get the crazy exclusive VIP invitations to one of my zany birthday dinners, they’re usually just a trap so I can get you to listen my new demos lol.
