Patch has exploded in growth this last weekend, with a social post that over 500,000 people have seen, so we had to unexpectedly navigate a deluge of nature-lovers and Thai foodies. Both blessed and bravely welcoming as many of you as we can, there are a few “new ways” to experience our stunning 20 acres and mindfully pause for a luscious 3-generation Thai family lunch. As a private non-profit funded by a solo philanthropist, we charge a $25 tax-deductible entry fee or a membership to enjoy the sanctuary. Vera’s Thai Garden is our weekend-only pop-up cafe, located inside our stunning Cacao Bar; we require that you buy a Day Pass or have a membership to eat at the cafe. Starting on Saturday, February 21st: 1. Day Pass Tickets are on a “Reservations Requested” basis, and starting this weekend, available every two hours. 2. The Thai Cafe is a “Reservations Required” basis, so once you have your Day Pass. You can find the links in our BIO. And if you seek a more VIP experience at Patch with our Thai Chef @verasthaigarden please consider the intimate upcoming Saturday, March 7th Farm to Table In The Stable, which will be offered to only 100 guests, as our Annual Fundraiser, with the entire plant-based Redland-sourced four-course meal provided by Chef Vera. I was in Guelph on Thursday and was excited to discover that The Patch is located there. I used to go to The Patch in Cambridge whenever I was in the area and was sad when they closed down, so was looking forward to checking out this location! There are two locations in downtown Guelph, both on the same street. One shop is at 31 Wyndham St. N and the second shop is located at 135 Wyndham St. N. @thepatchguelph The Patch sells vintage and secondhand clothing and accessories and everything is nicely curated. If you live in Guelph or are visiting for the day, be sure to check them out! 😊
