🌌 OUR SOLAR SYSTEM: A COSMIC NEIGHBORHOOD At the center of it all is the powerful Sun, holding everything together with gravity. Orbiting around it are incredible worlds—from rocky planets like Earth and Mars to massive gas giants like Jupiter. Between planets lies the Asteroid Belt, filled with ancient space rocks, while distant icy giants like Neptune mark the outer edges of our system. This perfectly balanced system has existed for billions of years—guiding planets in stable orbits and making life possible on Earth. It’s not just space… it’s our home in the universe. 🚀 ⭕ #SolarSystem #Space #NASA #Astronomy #planets

🪐✨ Gustav Holst — The Planets, Op. 32 — IV. Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity hr-Sinfonieorchester · Hugh Wolff, regente 🎻 • In the video, you heard what Holst called a “happy accident.” But nothing in this suite was an accident. In 1913, a year before the war, Holst traveled to Spain with friends and returned obsessed with astrology. He bought the book What is a Horoscope? by Alan Leo and spent months studying the temperament of each planet as if studying a person. When he sat down to compose, he didn’t want to describe orbits or sizes — he wanted to translate what each planet made you feel. He spent three years dictating note by note, unable to write alone. The result is seven movements that sound like seven states of the soul, and the fourth of them is the one you just heard on your headphones. • What the video didn’t have time to tell: Holst hated the fame The Planets brought. When asked for an autograph, he would hand out a printed card saying he didn’t give autographs. He avoided journalists. He once said, “Every artist should pray not to be a success.” And most revealing — the movement he considered the best of the suite was not Jupiter. It was Saturn, the Bringer of Old Age. While the world fell in love with Jupiter’s joy, Holst preferred the weight of time passing. Perhaps that’s why the joy in this movement sounds the way it does. It’s not light. It’s the joy of someone who knows pain — and chose joy anyway. • This recording features the hr-Sinfonieorchester under Hugh Wolff, who was principal conductor of this orchestra for nearly a decade. When he returned to Frankfurt as a guest, critics wrote that “rarely has the orchestra sounded so committed.” • 👉 Follow us, the best of classical music, every day in your feed. • • • #classicalmusic #orchestra #violin #musician

DID YOU KNOW? The Sun orbits the center of the Milky Way, bringing with it all the planets, asteroids, comets, and other objects in our solar system. So our entire Solar System revolves around the Milky way galaxy, just like the Earth orbits the Sun, but instead of orbiting a star, Solar system orbit around a Supermassive black hole- Sagittarius A*, at the centre of our Milky way galaxy. with an average velocity of 828,000 kilometers per hour. But even at this speed, it takes about 230 million years for the Sun to make one complete trip around the Milky Way. From small rocky worlds to massive gas giants, planets can seem unbelievably huge… 🌍🪐 One by one, they grow in size — each larger than the last — making you feel like you’re finally seeing the giants of our solar system. But just when it feels like nothing could be bigger… The Sun appears. And suddenly, everything else looks insignificant. The Sun isn’t just bigger — it dominates. It holds 99.8% of the entire solar system’s mass, making all the planets combined look like tiny specks around it ☀️ What felt massive just seconds ago… now feels almost nothing. And the craziest part? In the universe, even the Sun is just an average star 🌌. ⚠️ This video is not mine, the credits goes to the owner!! 📌Follow @worldofastronomers for more interesting videos. #space #sun #planets #stars #sizecomparison

How well do you know our planets? 🪐 All the planets in our solar system vary in size and distance from the sun, but just how different are they? . . . . #universe #space #astrology #planets #bbcearth #science #earthlovers #astronomy

Shocking, Phenomenon of our Solar system, how the planets revolving of the sun.😳🤯 Solar system revolution refers to the movement of celestial bodies, such as planets, in an elliptical orbit around the Sun. The time it takes for a planet to complete one orbit is called its period of revolution, and this period varies for each planet based on its distance from the Sun, with closer planets like Mercury having shorter periods and farther planets like Neptune having much longer ones. Earth's revolution takes approximately 365.24 days, resulting in a year and the basis for the Gregorian calendar, which accounts for the extra fraction of a day with leap years. The phenomenon of revolution, along with the Earth's axial tilt, is also the cause of the planet's four seasons. #space #dark #solarsystem #shooting #thecosmos #stars #milkeyway #earth #moonphotography #astronomy #viral #viralreels #nasa
