Did you know that art could be this intense? This is “The Round Table” by U-Ram Cho, a kinetic sculpture that’s currently on display in South Korea. Imagine 18 straw figures, all headless, struggling to support a massive table. On top of it, a single head rolls back and forth, forever out of reach. Each time a figure tries to rise and grab it, the table tilts, the head slips away, and the figure is pushed back down. It’s a powerful and haunting metaphor for the constant struggle for status and power in our world, often with little reward. What do you think?
