Nobody likes to post fuck ups only “perfection” but boy let me tell you just cause something is square/level at the shop it might end up looking crooked in field. And once there’s one pipe or metal red iron thats slightly out of level . Your level shit ends up looking crooked then everything’s crookedly straight !

Ductile Iron 6" 90 Degree

Running 2” gas on this project and threading it with the Ridgid 300. There’s something special about setting up the 300 on site — cutting the pipe square, reaming it clean, oiling the dies, and watching sharp, clean threads roll off the steel. Then grabbing the 24” pipe wrenches and tightening everything down solid. Press systems have their place and we use them when it makes sense. But threaded steel gas piping has stood the test of time. It’s proven. It’s dependable. And when installed properly, it delivers long-term performance you can rely on. The difference between a Pro and a Rookie. The helper no longer works for us but I did try to help him weld better and did let him too. I’m hoping there are No leaks from welds or i will have to fix them.
