Giraffes are the tallest land animals on the planet. Males can reach up to 5.5 to 6 meters tall. Their neck alone can be around 2 meters long… yet it has the same number of vertebrae as a human neck. Just seven. Their hearts can weigh over 10 kilos and generate twice the blood pressure of most mammals just to pump blood all the way up to the brain. And here’s where it gets even more interesting.
