Sometimes I can really struggle with managing my time. I can be a chronic multitasker when I’m feeling overwhelmed with tasks, but then risk not getting through the important pieces. (Anyone relate?) I’ve found one of the most effective time management tools I’ve ever come across is called Timeboxing. Heard of it? This strategy upgrades your ‘to-do’ lists by scheduling WHEN tasks get done. Here’s how in 3 easy steps: ➜ Brain-dump your daily tasks. ➜ Identify your top 3 priorities. ➜ Timebox them - allocate specific time slots in your calendar and commit. A quick tip: We often fall prey to the Planning Fallacy, underestimating how Long tasks will take us. So, start by doubling your time estimates to play it safe. 🚀 Why is timeboxing so valuable? Three reasons: ➜ It cuts through decision paralysis, ➜ enables focused prioritization, and ➜ tracks your time effectively for better future planning. Have you heard of Timeboxing before? Save for later 📌 Do you feel like you’re always busy and working yourself to the limit, yet STILL struggling with low productivity, meeting deadlines, and focusing on what truly matters? Today I’m going to share with you 3 time management hacks that will make every day feel 48 hours long ✨ 1. The Eisenhower Matrix. List out your tasks for the day and sort them into four categories: Urgent and important — do immediately. Important but not urgent — schedule for later. Urgent but not important — delegate to someone else. Not urgent and not important — don’t do these at all! 2. Parkinson’s Law. Work expands to fill the time you give it. Trick your brain by setting “fake deadlines.” If an application is due in a week, pretend it’s due in five days instead. 3. Work With Your Energy, Not Against It. Identify your peak focus hours and use them for deep work. 4 Time Rules That Will Change Your Life in 90 Days 1. The 8+8+8 Rule: Divide your day with intention, not excuses. • 8 hours for YOU — workouts, hobbies, learning, self-growth, family, friends • 8 hours of deep, laser-focused work — no distractions, no half-effort • 8 hours of quality, guilt-free sleep — because a tired mind can’t win If your life feels chaotic, it’s because your time isn’t structured. ⸻ 2. The 1-3-5 Rule: Stop overwhelming yourself. Start prioritizing like a winner. • 1 BIG goal that scares you (this is what changes your life) • 3 important tasks that actually move you forward • 5 small tasks (calls, emails, errands, basic responsibilities) Not everything is important. Learn to separate movement from noise. ⸻ 3. The 10-Minute Rule: Motivation is unreliable. Discipline starts small. • Work with full focus for 10 minutes • Take a 2-minute break • Repeat the cycle This removes pressure, kills procrastination, and builds unstoppable momentum. Starting is the hardest part—this rule makes starting easy. ⸻ 4. The 90/90/1 Rule: This is where average people quit—and focused people win. • 90 minutes • For 90 days straight • On ONE life-changing goal No multitasking. No distractions. No excuses. If you stay consistent, the results will shock you. ⸻ Reality Check: You don’t need more time. You need better discipline with the time you already have. Most people waste their day and blame their life. Don’t be most people. Comment “TIME” and I’ll send you a simple routine to fix your day follow for more such content

Here are the three universal rules that students who struggle with time management should keep in mind: 1. Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule): The Pareto Principle is an economic theory that suggests 80% of the results come from 20% of the efforts or inputs. Applied to time management, it implies that you should focus on the 20% of tasks that yield the most significant results. As a student, this could mean that 80% of your academic performance comes from 20% of your study time. The key is identifying which tasks carry the most value and investing your time and energy there. 2. Eisenhower Principle: This principle provides a way to categorize tasks based on their urgency and importance. By distinguishing between tasks that are urgent and those that are important, you can prioritize effectively. The most crucial aspect is to allocate time for tasks that are not urgent but important (like long-term planning or learning for self-development). These tasks are often neglected but ultimately contribute the most to your success. 3. Parkinson’s Law: Parkinson’s Law comes from the observation that “work expands to fill the time available for its completion.” In other words, if you do not set a time limit for a task, it could potentially drag on longer than expected. By setting time constraints, you can enhance your work efficiency and secure time for other important tasks. @ryo_in_uk #timemanagement #time #studytime #studytips #studytime #studytip #studygram #studyhelp #studyadvice #studywithme #studygrammer #studygrambr #studyblr #studyblog #studyblogger #studyvlog #studycafe #studyaesthetic #studydesk #studyspo #studyinspiration #studyinspo #studyinghard #studystudystudy #studystudy #studyvibes #studymotivation

“TIME” isn’t the issue, YOU are. 😤 This one fires me up. Successful people simply stopped making excuses and started taking action. They stopped complaining about all the reasons they can’t and started finding all the reasons why they could. I used to be one of those. I used to be the one that was “working” all day but nothing was finished. “Cleaning” all day but the house is still dirty. The issue isn’t that there isn’t enough time, it’s how you’re using it. So if you’re tired of being unproductive and will make the TIME to watch it, I’ve put together a completely free time management training video for y’all and it’s one of our fan favourites we really should have charged for, but we didn’t. So if you’ll carve the time to watch it, drop the word “TIME” below and my team will send the free link to you. Small shifts, big strides. Cheers #timemanagement
