Learn What They Do Wrong👇🏾 If this was helpful to you, save and share this post💾 and comment the word “PLAN” to learn how to plant your food to feed a family of 4 for one year so you can fight inflation🌟 Little gardening mistakes like this zap your money time and motivation because: 😩After working a 9-5 job, there is little time to correct mistakes 😩After you’ve paid all the bills, there is not enough left over to garden 😩After mistakes like this, your plants turn yellow and die, and you are too tired to try gardening again The cycle ends for you today. Okay, so let’s get into this mistake I made: 🌿There are at a few lettuce plants that should have been divided. 🌿Because the lettuce plants are super root bound, they are turning yellow. 🌿Just like you, I thought I should plant whatever is growing in the pot I bought in the store. I never thought to look inside the pot to see if there are multiple plants growing inside. Little did I know I was stopping myself from growing a load of lettuce, skipping the grocery store for over 6 months, saving myself a ton of time and money. I could have grown enough lettuce to satisfy my entire family, and to profit from it. While I am all for breaking plant spacing rules, these roots will get too crowded, and lettuce won't grow to its fullest potential. I can stop you from making little mistakes like this, so you can live your dream of self sufficiency, live off your garden, and to create a dream life off the grid. Or maybe you are an ambitious woman, looking to grow food for your family to leave a legacy besides your career and degrees. (which you can't even pass down to your kids! But with gardening, you can!) I have a formula for new, busy gardeners who want to feed their family for one year: 1️⃣ How to set up an optimal gardening environment 2️⃣Set up your garden, so you don’t strain your knees 3️⃣Easy planting plans, so you’ll check on your garden for weeks at a time 4️⃣Ways to earn a side income from what you produce, so you can beat inflation Message me the word “PLAN” and I'll send you my free mini course on how to grow a ton of food.

Most beginner gardening problems come down to a few common mistakes. Fix these early and your plants will grow much better 🌿 1️⃣ Overwatering The #1 reason plants die. Most plants prefer soil that dries slightly between watering. Try this instead: Check the soil with your finger before watering Water deeply, but less often Always use pots with drainage holes 2️⃣ Poor soil Plants can only grow as well as the soil they’re in. Better approach: Use quality garden or raised bed soil Mix in compost if possible Healthy soil leads to stronger roots and bigger harvests 3️⃣ Not enough sunlight Most vegetables need 6–8 hours of direct sun to grow well. What helps: Plant in the sunniest spot you have Move containers to brighter areas Grow leafy greens if your space gets less sun Focus on the basics: sun, soil, and watering.Master these and gardening gets much easier 🌱 Save this and follow us @coalcreekfarmette for more beginner gardening!

Garden Chronicles Pt. 9🪴 | What soil do I recommend? | Thank you for following along and liking each post in this series. 🪴Garden Chronicles is about sharing what I’ve learned, tips and tricks for successful gardening and (hopefully) inspiring you to start your own garden if it’s something you’ve wanted to do but wasn’t sure of where (or how) to start. 🪴If you’re just starting your gardening journey, good soil doesn’t have to cost a fortune. 🪴In this quick tip, I’m sharing a budget-friendly soil option that works great for beginner gardeners who want healthy plants without overspending. 🪴No matter what soil you buy, remember that amendments make the real difference. Adding things like compost and fertilizer helps improve nutrients, structure, and overall plant growth. 🪴Think of store-bought soil as the base, and your amendments as the boost that helps your garden thrive. 🪴Start simple, build your soil over time, and your plants will thank you. 🗣️And before the “I shouldn’t have to do all that” crowd arrives let me just say, I love that for you sweetie. Gon head and sit this one out. #gardening #gardenwithme #garden #gardentok #fyp
