🥹🥹🥹 We met on Tinder in 2016. The algorithm probably matched us because he lived one block from my gym on 27th Street where I was 5x a week. I would come over often after my workouts with my food. We are very different people but we have two very important core things in common: we love being active and we like holding each other accountable. Looking back, I realize a majority of our dates were always a planned active activity: city walks, art museums, hiking- and most of our date meals were at home together. We loved going to the grocery store 😂 As time went on, with my consistency in my training and nutrition, and the support I received at home, my results became more evident- to where I am today. To have met someone who needs to have gym access every day of his life, especially on vacation, and whose only furniture before we moved in together were a bed/couch/desk/ and a spin bike, has been a blessing that I didn’t realize all of those years ago. ❤️ Whether with friends or a partner, surround yourself with people that bring you up and not down.
