🌱 I don’t follow trends It’s funny how often a trend pops up - maybe in clothes, design, or lifestyle and at first, you don’t even like it. But after seeing it enough times on others and suddenly you want it. That’s the thing: following trends can quietly kill your own creativity. When you buy or do things just because they’re “in,” you stop listening to what you truly like. Start small - next time you buy something, don’t ask “Is this trendy?” Ask: “Do I like it?” If the answer is yes, that’s enough to get it. 🌱 I stay curious Ask questions about everything. When you walk past a building or historical building, pause and ask - “when was this built? who made it? why?” Some of the most creative ideas are born from simply noticing and questioning everyday things. 🌱 I carry a notebook Not a notes app, a real notebook. Studies show handwriting boosts creativity and memory. I always carry one with me to jot down thoughts, ideas, random observations - anything. You’d be surprised how often a great idea pops up… and disappears five minutes later. So write them down. 🌱 I scroll Pinterest for 5 minutes a day This was a game changer. I dedicate just a few minutes every morning to scroll through Pinterest and it’s 2x improved my design eye. My Pinterest is basically a mood board for my dream life, so it also keeps me inspired and focused on the life I’m building.
