Social media can be a great resource for dog training, but keep in mind we can’t see your dog and what might work for one is the opposite of what would work for another.

Being a dog trainer and having to also create content is very overwhelming for me which is why I never post as much as I should. I also don’t get enough video of my clients dogs progress which is not helpful for my business! But will try to get more content the next few months. Whisky’s Residential Training Progress ✨ Whisky came to me few months ago highly reactive to both people and dogs. Even family members couldn’t be around her without her lunging and snapping at them, and she couldn’t safely be off lead in public due to her reactions. She would react the second someone walked towards her or even entered her space. Pulled on the lead, wouldn’t listen to commands given and launch herself at dogs. This client has been failed by 6 Dog Trainers, every single trainer failed to not only fix the reactivity but also failed to work with the dog as they didn’t know where to start, BUT they where all happy to take this clients Money, when are trainers going to stop acting like they are doing the clients they work with some type of favour, when the reality is us dog trainers should be thankful, honoured and humbled that the client has chosen us to work with their dogs, it’s a privilege to be a dog trainer and to work with these dogs and clients, dog trainers need to remove their ego and start putting the client & their dogs first. #gsd #dogtrainer #dogtraining #reactivedog #dogsofinstagram
