Our kids ask all the time when the next Show & Tell Dinner is—and honestly, we look forward to them just as much as they do. We usually do one about once a month, and it’s become such a fun family tradition. Sometimes the kids bring artwork, Lego creations, or something they cooked. Other times they share about a skill they’re working on. Some things—like skiing or tennis—are harder to bring to the table, but they can tell us about it or show a video. It’s simple, but it’s one of our favorite ways to celebrate what everyone is learning and creating. #familytradition #family #kids #traditions

Learning how to make my mom’s taro cake (芋頭糍/芋頭糕) has been a long process, particularly because she’s been cooking it without really measuring the ingredients 😂 It took quite a bit of convincing on my part, but she grudgingly pulled out her scale and measuring cups to develop a recipe that I can actually recreate and share! This is one of my favorite homemade dishes, and I hope you guys give it a try some time! Recipe link in my profile! For my vegetarian and vegan friends: I’m working on a vegan version! 🌷Ressurection Gardens🪻 Have you made a resurrection garden before?? Do you know what it is?! We started by reading a few books and talking about them. We then found long twigs and trimmed them down so we could make three crosses per garden. We secured them using twine. We then filled large plastic and clay saucers with potting soil, placed a small pot on its side in the middle and then covered it in soil to create a mound. This is the tomb. We planted a few flowers, sprinkled some grass seed, and created a stone path leading up to the tomb. We added our crosses and finally, the large stone in front of the tomb. I love how each garden is unique even though we all picked from the same supply selection! #motherhood #traditions #easter #resurrectionplant #resurrectiongarden
