It really hits me hard when a young Ghanaian stands by the notion that this country will never get better. Some of these comments are driven by some of the disturbing incidents we hear all around; corruption now creeping its way into every office, businesses taking advantage of every opportunity for their gains and to the detriment of their customers. Young leaders amassing wealth even when they have the opportunity to make a difference and make a good name for themselves. Some are driven by political ideologies whereas others are driven by their own ideas. But I have this strong feeling that, if we channel the energy we use in critiquing identified problems into making pragmatic decisions in finding suggested solutions, our country will be a good place to stay. The Ghanaian youth should be thinking of what he or she stands to contribute to Mother Ghana in the near future, align his or her vision with national development and patriotism, and build our personal leadership skills. The beauty of our future is dependent on our actions today. As we celebrate our 69th Anniversary as a country, let’s have that confidence that Ghana is the hope of Africa and it’s our task to make that hope a reality. Let us work together to build a better Ghana. Let’s liberate ourselves. Let’s have faith in our country. The future belongs to us.. We are capable of doing great things #wegodoam #GodmakethKing #
