If you saw the beautiful running pictures of Lily and Dakota that @photoadvocacy caught, this is when that happened. We moved them to a grassy pasture nobody has been in so they could graze for the day and they were so excited they took off running around it with such joy and abandon, it was an amazing sight to see ❤️ Both Lily and Dakoda came to us with serious special needs we weren’t sure there was a cure for.! Lily has an auto immune disease called Pemphigus Foliation and Dakoda had a number of issues related to her bladder and urine pooling inside her scalding her legs. Lily’s illness has been managed with steroids and we are now hoping she is in remission for good now as she’s been two springs without a relapse. Dakoda went to UC Davis and had a kidney removed which resolved her issue, her surgery kindly paid for by an incredible donor called Lily ❤️❤️ So seeing them run around like this, being the young fillies they are, is hard to put into words. Lily is without doubt one of our most requested and asked about saves and it means the world how many people care about her progress and health. I shall post a picture of her in stories, of how she looked when we found her at the BLM for anyone who wasn’t following when she came to us. Happy 13th birthday Marigold! Today is Marigold’s FIRST birthday outside of the laboratory. For her first 12 years, Marigold was known only as govt ID #11-245, the federal tattoo in both her ears. This video shows Marigold’s other “firsts.” And she has YOU to thank! White Coat Waste recently launched a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) investigation and campaign to expose and close Marigold’s lab. Dr. Fauci’s NIH department paid the Univ. of California, Davis, to abuse kittens. Two-month-old cats were locked alone in cages. UC Davis rammed tubes down each kitten’s throat. It force-fed them scrambled mouse brains. All were slaughtered. Your tax bill? $419,000. But two days after UC Davis received our FOIA in January 2024, it CANCELED the experiments! Following our win, UC Davis also shuttered its cat breeding colony and retired the felines… including Marigold. This is a BFD. For decades, UC Davis maintained this colony. It supplied kittens for the nation’s worst experiments. Like NIH’s electro-shock tests at UC Irvine, the Smithsonian, and even the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs. It's Native American Heritage Month, and we’re spotlighting Atreganson “Trey” Lowry — a @ucdavis mechanical and aerospace science and engineering major whose journey blends rocketry, culture and STEM leadership. 🚀✨ Lowry found his way into rocketry through the UC Davis chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) Region 2. What started as a surprise “recruitment” at @ucdavis_thenest quickly launched into something bigger: a first-place win at the 2025 First Nations Launch competition and a deep commitment to building community for Native American students in STEM.
