I am writing this with tears in my eyes.. Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of performing Umrah with my Mehram. I used to say it all the time, one day I will go with my spouse. So many people asked me why I had not gone yet, and my answer was always the same. I am waiting to go with my husband. Today, that dream feels real. We got married, and our very first trip together was for Umrah in Mecca. And now, we are here in Ramadan, we will be fasting and preparing to perform another Umrah.🕋 When Allah says Kun, it happens. In ways you cannot imagine. I feel overwhelmed thinking about how dua changes everything. Especially Tahajjud. Pray when everyone is asleep. Cry to Allah. Ask Him for what feels impossible. He listens. And when the time is right, He gives in the most beautiful way. As narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari (3336) and Sahih Muslim (7092): Allah created Adam عليه السلام sixty cubits tall. He was told to greet the angels, and he said: “As-salamu ‘alaykum.” They replied: “As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah.” And from that moment, the greeting of peace became the greeting of his children — us. 🤍 SubhanAllah… Our very first exchange as humanity was one of peace and mercy. The Prophet ﷺ also told us that the people of Jannah will return to the form of Adam — tall, complete, perfected — while human beings continued to decrease in stature over time in this world.
