I used to sacrifice exercise to study now I schedule 6 training sessions a week… Why? 1. There’s more to life than study!! You’re allowed to have other goals! For me, this was signing up for my first half marathon (and a second because I have no self control) 🕺🕺 2. The science. Running improves brain function, enhances memory and decreases stress, which is arguably better for my study anyway 🧠⚡️ 3. I needed a challenge. I knew I could study and do great academically, but I was honestly getting bored and wanted to test myself in other ways. Knowing I’m capable of more than just academic success is so refreshing!! If you’ve been here for a while, you may be a bit confused with the big transition from study content to running content. Honestly this is a reflection of the shift in the way I am challenging myself, and I hope that’s ok! From here on out though expect a mix of both, because I know I am capable of more in every area!
