Sanatan Dharma maps out the entire universe into 14 distinct dimensions or 'Lokas'. ✨ The 7 Upper Lokas: From Bhuvarloka up to Satyaloka. These are the realms of higher consciousness, Devas, and enlightened Rishis. 🌍 Bhuloka: Our Earth. The middle ground and the ultimate realm of Karma. 🐍 The 7 Lower Lokas: From Atala down to Patala. These are the subterranean realms inhabited by Asuras, Danavas, and Nagas, filled with immense material wealth and illusion. And resting at the very foundation, sustaining the weight of all creation, is Lord Vishnu. 🌌 #14lokas #sanatandharma #satyaloka #patala #lordvishnu

This is the largest map of the universe ever made This map comes from DESI (Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument), a project that’s been scanning the sky for years to build a 3D view of the cosmos. So far, DESI has measured spectra for over 47 million galaxies and quasars, along with more than 20 million stars in the Milky Way — making this the most detailed, high-resolution map of the universe ever created. What looks like scattered dots is actually the structure of the universe itself — galaxies tracing out vast patterns shaped over billions of years. 👉To study dark energy’s effects over the past 11 billion years, DESI has created the largest 3D map of our cosmos ever constructed, with the most precise measurements to date. This is the first time scientists have measured the expansion history of the young universe with a precision better than 1%, giving us our best view yet of how the universe evolved. 🤩This incredible 3D Galaxy map of the universe contains 14.7 million galaxies, All of these galaxies are in their accurate position in the universe as seen from Earth. By the end of this incredible mission, 40 million galaxies will be charted, revealing the breathtaking structure of the observable Universe. DESI produces largest high resolution 3D map of the universe ever made! #space #astronomy #science #nasa

😮 You’re looking at the largest 3D map of the known universe ever created. #bosplanet Built by an international team of 900+ scientists, this map shows the location of 15 million galaxies and quasars, stretching 11 billion light-years into the cosmos — all the way from our cosmic backyard. This stunning visualization is part of the DESI (Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument) project, mounted on the Mayall 4-meter Telescope at Kitt Peak. 🎯 Its goal? To help us understand dark energy — the mysterious force accelerating the universe’s expansion. And here’s the wild part: DESI’s data suggests dark energy might be changing over time. That means the rules of the universe could be evolving... and we’re just beginning to map it out. 🌌 Every dot is a galaxy. 🌍 Earth is at the center of this visualization. 📍Built by DESI Collaboration | Berkeley Lab | NSF | NOIRLab #Astronomy #DarkEnergy #3DMap #Universe #DESI #Galaxies #CosmicPerspective #Astrophysics #NASAScience

BREAKING: The largest high-resolution 3D map of the Universe is now complete! Last night, the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument — mounted on the NSF Nicholas U. Mayall 4-meter Telescope at @KittPeakNatObs, a Program of NSF @NOIRLabastro — completed its originally planned five-year survey of the Universe. Mapping more than 47 million galaxies and quasars, @DESISurvey has produced the largest high-resolution 3D map of the Universe ever made.🤯 Researchers will use that map to explore dark energy, the fundamental ingredient that makes up about 70% of our Universe and is driving its accelerating expansion. By comparing how galaxies clustered in the past with their distribution today, researchers can trace dark energy’s influence over 11 billion years of cosmic history. Earlier results from DESI’s first three years of data hinted at something surprising: dark energy, long thought to be constant, may actually be evolving over time. With the full five-year dataset now complete, scientists will now have more information to test whether that hint disappears or grows. This result could reshape our understanding of the Universe and its future. 🔭 And the work isn’t over: DESI will continue observing through 2028, expanding this unprecedented map of the cosmos. The definitive 3D map of our universe ✨ On April 15, 2026, the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) officially completed its five-year survey of the sky. Perched atop the Nicholas U. Mayall Telescope at Kitt Peak, this instrument uses 5,000 robotic eyes to peer back 11 billion years into our history. These positioners are accurate to within 10 microns, which is less than the width of a human hair, allowing a global team of over 900 researchers to capture light from 47 million galaxies and quasars. Early results suggest that dark energy might not be a “cosmological constant” as previously thought. Instead, there are hints that it could be evolving over time. If confirmed, this would mark a massive shift in our understanding of how the universe expands and its ultimate fate. #fyp #space #astronomy #nasa #universe

I’ve got something truly mind-blowing for you… ✨🌌 This is the most detailed map of the Universe ever created - in full quality, no compression Scientists from around the world spent five years building it… And what you’re looking at contains 47 million galaxies. Just pause for a moment and take that in. 47 million worlds… stories… possibilities. The entire known universe, compressed into one mind-bending photo! 🤯🌌🪐" "We often think our lives are big, but when you zoom out to this level, you realize we are just a tiny fraction of a fraction of... everything. ✨ Telescopes on! This map compress everything: We start at our Sun and the tiny, inner planets of our Solar System, barely noticeable in the cosmic foam. We move out to the gas giants, our nearby star neighbors, and across the vast arms of our Milky Way Galaxy. Past the Andromeda Galaxy, we enter the local group and ultimately see the cosmic microwave background at the very edge of the observable universe. It’s a humbling, almost existential reminder of how insignificant we are in the grand, relativistic theater of space. Every point you see is a galaxy, holding hundreds of billions of stars and who knows how many potential lives. #SpaceExploration #UniverseScale #Astrobiology #Astronomy #Nasa UniverseMap Cosmos ScienceCommunication DidYouKnow ScaleOfTheUniverse Amritva SpacePhotography Telescope
