I LOVE dim sum and I love discovering new favourite dim sum spots across Vancouver. This is @seaportcityvan and they have tons of unique dishes that set them apart. They’re the sister spot to @the_deluxe_chinese_restaurant in Richmond which is one of my fave dim sum spots! They’ve been recognized with a @michelinguide Bib Gourmand because of their dim sum being good quality and good value. Parking: they validate up to 2 hours! New Japanese cafe in Vancouver ☕️ Nizu Cafe (@nizucafe) is a new popular cafe near Coal Harbour that always has a line - but is it worth it? My vote: Yes 👍 ! This is my new fav cafe that has premium matcha and really good food. We tried: 🍵 Matcha reserve latte ($7): first roast matcha that the owner sources from Shizuoka, Japan! Nice deep flavour. ☕️ Miso caramel latte ($8): miso caramel, espresso kuromitsu drizzle. Sweet and strong. 🥪 Ebi katsu sando ($18): 1/4 lb shrimp patty with yuzu slaw. Fries + addicting curry kewpie sauce. 🍝 Mentaiko cream pasta ($25): Creamy and umami!! 🍪 Black sesame madeleine ($6): Unique and good black sesame flavour. Pairs very well with our drinks. 🍰 Yaki imo cheesecake ($9): The sweet potato really shines! Cheesecake is smooth and light.
