HANDSTAND TIPS part 4 Spice up your wall practice (or free standing!) with these variations: 1️⃣ The classic kick up This might be the easiest (although the other two get really smooth the more you practice) which is why it’s the most common. Make sure to practice efficiently kicking up without slamming your feet into the wall. Go for 5-10 reps. 2️⃣ The tuck up This one feels fairly challenging at first since you have to keep your legs together, which feels unusual if you’ve been kicking up for years. Try this to give yourself a sense of staying compact while moving up. Go for 5-10 reps. 3️⃣ The straddle up If presses are your goal moving up through straddle and lowering down slowly will have to become part of your daily routine! Go for 5-10 reps.
