Customers like to browse comfortably without feeling pressured. Fix it: Stay approachable but relaxed. A friendly smile and a simple “Hi, let me know if you have any questions” goes a long way. Then, let them shop at their own pace. 2️⃣ Flat Table Displays = Invisible Products A flat table full of items looks cluttered and uninviting. Customers’ eyes naturally go to things that are layered, elevated, and visually organized, not to a table that looks like a yard sale. Fix it: Add risers, crates, stands, or baskets to create levels. Height draws attention, makes your products pop, and looks more professional. 3️⃣ Not Knowing Your Product = Lost Sales If you can’t confidently explain your product, its value, or even the price, customers quickly lose interest and move on. 🌸 vendor tips its getting warm out which means its market season ! 😇 as im entering my 3rd year in business, heres some tips ive learned to help grow your brand ⬇️ 1️⃣ STAY ORGANIZED from storage, to transportation, to the set up; keeping everything organized and in a specific spot helps ease stressful situations. 2️⃣ PRICE EVERYTHING having prices clearly out assists those customers that have a budget, or may be too shy to ask. I use signage on my tables, as well as individually pricing each piece, so people dont get confused. 3️⃣ LET THE PRODUCTS SELL THEMSELVES instead of greeting each and every customer when they walk into your booth, let them browse around first. I’ve found that a majority of people really dont like to talk, but if they do, they’ll come up to you. To keep the awkwardness at bay, i make jewelry behind the table to help keep my hands busy. 4️⃣ STAY POSITIVE regardless of the profits, every event comes with teachable moments. learning what people like/want, what different set ups work for you, what events are worth your efforts. there is always something to gain, monetary or not. #smallbusiness #theluckylibra #handmadejewelry #vendortips #markets #marketseason
