How to not get charged $45 by TSA with Google Wallet. As of Feb 1st, 2026 TSA will now be charging people without a Real ID. This is to cover expenses for verifying travelers without proper identification. You're able to pay, but it doesn't guarantee entry. There are ways to get around the charge. One way is a different form of identification such as your passport. Also if you have an Android smartphone you're now able to add to your Google Wallet.
