👀 Decart and Etched released a demo of its new AI-generated game called Oasis, which lets players create and modify virtual environments, effectively building a complex game from scratch in real time. Trained on videos of Minecraft gameplay, Oasis takes in keyboard and mouse movements and generates frames in real time, simulating physics, rules, and graphics. Oasis is part of an emerging category of generative AI models called “world models.” Many of these models can simulate games — but few at frame rates as high as Oasis. AI labs Etched and Decart chose to base the Oasis demo on Minecraft because its open-world environment supports dynamic content, a technical challenge that they wanted AI to overcome. Yugioh IRL! I have been given the special opportunity to develop a virtual reality, spatial card game for the Apple Vision Pro ! This is the current state of the demo, tested by my good friend @rosaadixx . We've got some card designs being tracked and placeholder models appearing from the cards. This is really exciting because of my past of making card games as a child and my TCG related YouTube videos I've been on-and-off making for many years. In this project, I developed an AI simulation where virtual boxers learn to fight using reinforcement learning. The key libraries and tools utilized for this project include: Unity: The primary platform for creating the 3D simulation environment. Unity was used to design the boxing ring, animate the characters, and manage the overall game mechanics. ML-Agents Toolkit: This Unity plugin by Unity Technologies provides tools for training intelligent agents in simulated environments using reinforcement learning. It bridges the gap between Unity and machine learning frameworks. TensorFlow: An open-source machine learning library used for building and training the reinforcement learning models. TensorFlow's capabilities enable the complex computations needed for the AI to learn boxing strategies. Gym: A toolkit for developing and comparing reinforcement learning algorithms.
