Part 1 of my favourite places to visit in Cornwall 🌊 1. St Ives - One of the prettiest towns in England and a firm favourite on any Cornwall itinerary. St Ives is home to a lovely fishing harbour surrounded by old fisherman houses, and it has everything you need for a holiday in Cornwall. 2. Pentire Poppies - The most beautiful sea of poppies across a wildflower meadow overlooking Crantock Beach near Newquay on the north Cornwall coast. Owned by the National Trust, visits can admire the poppies (do not walk amongst them) whilst enjoying a gorgeous coastal walk to Polly Joke Beach. If you have the energy, I recommend walking to Holywell Bay, another gorgeous beach in Cornwall. 3. Perranporth - A great day trip from Newquay, or a place to base yourself, Perranporth felt like the perfect slice of Australia, just with fish and chips and colder water. Famous for its tidal pool (Chapel Rock), Perranporth Beach offers 3 miles of golden sand. 4. Gwithian Beach - My favourite sunset spot in Cornwall, Gwithian Beach is located near located near Hayle, just north of St Ives. The beach is long and sandy, spreading across 3-4 miles with excellent surfing conditions. 5. Kynance Cove - one of the most famous beaches in England, let alone Cornwall. Kynance Cove is an excellent reward after a walk down the hill! This iconic beach on the Lizard Peninsula is renowned for its white sand, turquoise waters, and dramatic, red-and-green serpentine rock formations Part 2 coming soon!! • Seven Day Cornwall Itinerary • Day 1: Port Isaac & Polzeath 🐟🏄‍♀️ Explore Port Isaac, do the coastal walk to Port Quin. Visit the @stkewfarmshop and @stkewinn. In the evening, drive to Polzeath and make sure to check out @surfside_polzeath! Day 2: Padstow, Trevose Head & Mother Ivey’s 🌸🦞 Explore Padstow and have a pizza at @cafferojano or a salad box from @sabzideli. Drive to Booby’s Bay car park, and do the coastal walk around Trevose Head, and visit Mother Ivey’s Bay. For dinner, try The Lobster Shed at The Pig Hotel in Harlyn Bay @the_pig_hotels! Day 3: Crantock & Holywell🌅🍕 Spend the morning in Crantock, make sure to visit @jam_jar_jess for pastries or pizza. Walk to Porth Joke Beach from Crantock or try paddleboarding on The Gannel. Watch the sunset at Holywell Beach! Day 4: Carbis Bay and St Ives 🦭🐳 Start at Carbis Bay Beach, then walk to St Ives. For lunch, try @porthmeorcafeofficial. In the afternoon, do a coastal walk at Zennor and visit The Gurnard’s Head or @thetinnersarms for food! Day 5: Porthcurno & the Minack Theatre 🎭✨ Visit Porthcurno Beach and do a coastal walk to Porth Chapel Beach. If the tide is correct, walk from Porthcurno to Pedn Vounder Beach. If available, catch a show at the Minack Theatre @minacktheatre! Day 6: Penzance, Mousehole & St Michael’s Mount 🍇🏊 Explore Penzance and visit St Michael’s Mount. Swim in the @jubileepool. Have lunch at @polgoonvineyard . Head to Mousehole and visit @theoldcoastguard! Day 7: Falmouth and St Mawes ⛵️🥘 Visit Falmouth, take a ferry to St Mawes, and visit @idlerocks. Drive to Portscatho and try the @hiddenhut!
