10 things to do in Marrakech 🇲🇦 Marrakech is vibrant, intense, and endlessly inspiring, and no list could ever fully capture it. But if you’re visiting for the first time, this is a great starting point to experience the city’s rhythm, history, and beauty. 1) Madrasa Ben Youssef One of the most beautiful places in Marrakech. This 14th-century Islamic college is an absolute must. Come slightly before the opening at 9 am to have it for yourself. 2) Bacha Coffee More than a café, it’s an institution. Lavish interiors, hundreds of coffees to choose from, and a true Marrakech icon. Go early to avoid the queues. 3) El Badi Palace The ruins of what was once one of the grandest palaces in Morocco. Come for the history, stay for the scale and the storks nesting above. 4) The Souks (Souk Semmarine) Getting lost here is part of the experience. Souk Semmarine is the main artery - colourful, chaotic, and full of artisans at work. Take your time and soak it all in. 5) Jardin Majorelle & YSL Museum A Marrakech classic. Jardin Majorelle is open daily from 8:30 am, and combined tickets with the YSL Museum start from around 150–300 MAD depending on access. Book in advance. 6) Stay in a Riad A non-negotiable Marrakech experience. From Riad Yasmine (featured in the video) to Riad Botanica or Riad Sakkan, each offers a peaceful escape from the medina’s energy. 7) Café des Épices & Place des Épices A perfect stop while exploring the souks. Great views, relaxed atmosphere, and ideal for a coffee or lunch break. 8) Le Jardin Secret A hidden oasis in the medina. Open daily from 9:30 am, tickets start at around 100 MAD. Climb the tower for beautiful views over the rooftops. 9) Breakfast at La Sultana One of the most beautiful breakfasts in the city. Served daily from 7:30–11:00 am, 550 dh/ 55€, and open to non-hotel guests. 10) Jemaa el Fnaa Love it or hate it, this square is the heartbeat of Marrakech. Come at sunset to experience its full energy. 👉Save this for your Marrakech trip ©️NO REPOSTS allowed without permission |marrakech things to do | what to do in marrakech | must see in marrakech | places to visit in marrakech
