If you’re looking for somewhere to visit in the UK this year here are some of my favourites! Is there anywhere you would add? 📍 Save for a future trip. Which location would you love to visit? 1. Canterbury - Go punting along the river stour, visit the cathedral and old town and walk along Westgate garden to see the beautiful flower displays. 2. Bath - Visit the Roman Baths, relax at the Thermae Bath Spa and try a Sally Lunn bun. 3. York - A beautiful city full of history and make sure to visit The Shambles which is thought to have inspired Diagon Alley in Harry Potter. 4. Cambridge - Explore this city’s beautiful colleges or go punting along the river Cam this city really does have it all. 5. Edinburgh - This city is full of stunning architecture and history. Nottingham - The home of Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest. Make sure to visit the castle and finish off by having a drink at the Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem; the oldest inn in England. Lincoln - Walk the medieval walls of Lincoln Castle and visit the Magna Carta Vault. Here you can see an original copy of the Magna Carta, only four have survived all this time so it’s a pretty special thing to see! Explore Steep Hill (yes this hill is aptly named). This beautiful ancient woodland is located in the Forest of Dean and is like walking through a fairytale. 🥰 3️⃣ Henrhyd Falls: This is one of my favourite waterfalls in Wales. It’s in the Brecon Beacons and is quite a steep walk to reach, but it’s so worth it! 🌳 4️⃣ Symondsbury Estate: We visited this place on our most recent trip to Dorset and it was utterly stunning.
