Bulimia is often spoken about in narrow, stereotyped ways that fail to reflect how it actually shows up in people’s lives. This misunderstanding can delay people reaching out for support and can strain personal and therapeutic relationships when individuals don’t feel fully understood. This session offers a clear and compassionate exploration of binge eating and compensatory behaviours, integrating clinical understanding, lived experience, and insights from the therapy room. Rachel will begin with the clinical definition of bulimia, before unpacking common assumptions about what bulimia is, who it affects, and how these behaviours function. Attendees will be supported to move beyond surface-level explanations and develop a more nuanced understanding of how someone may come to feel trapped in the binge–purge cycle, building confidence in how they talk about and respond to bulimic behaviours. 🎟️ Tickets via link in bio - priced on a sliding scale. We were tight. Voxed all day. Ran offers together — taught writing. It took almost no effort to get dozens of women in the room. Celebrated back-to-back five-figure launches. Actually, now that I’m sitting here thinking about it… We met on her summit in 2017 — the summit that blew up her list and put her business on the map. She aligned her social media feed with the vision she has for her business. POWERFUL STUFF 🔥 It’s one of the most powerful energetic shifts you can make things on the 0-$5k month path. I’m call it my Bless & Release social media filter ⬇️ • Do I feel good, upleveled even if it’s a little uncomfortable when I read this account? Notice if you’re feeling triggered in a good way or bad way. Permission granted to hit unfollow if it’s just not where you’re going! •Do I notice that I immediately want to beat myself up with comparison every time I see this person’s feed? Compare/despair steals so much time in the beginning. I recommend unfollowing until your mindset gets a bit stronger • Am I following a lot of people in my space and not ideal clients & customers? Reverse this! ASAP you want to be following your ideal clients and customers not a whole bunch of people that are doing the same thing as you. Your feed. Your space. You get to decide. 🖤 P.S. I Voxed my coach Friday morning and told her I think I’m going to hang up my “business owner” hat. We are in the middle of some super intense projects with my clients, I have some big proposals in the works, my pivot didn’t go as perfectly planned and now I’m thinking about re-working my entire offering.
