This time last year I sat in a church with a group of incredible women standing in the front being honored for Mother’s Day, and I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I couldn’t help but let the tears run down my face. At the time, I was very early in my pregnancy to where I didn’t want to let myself yet get too excited. I had wanted this and worked for this, and yet it still felt so far away. I was so excited and grateful to be on my journey to motherhood. I couldn’t wait to stand with those women soon! I was also scared of what ifs, sad for my struggles, and feeling exposed by my show of emotions because how could I even put into words what I was feeling. This year, well I’m still very much in my feelings. 🥹 I’m so proud of this little guy, our family and how I’ve taken on my new role. Overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion as I pulled clips from these past four months. Waites is absolutely a gift, and we are treasuring every second. Happy 4 months little one! Sending so much love to all the women out there, no matter the title and whether you’re experiencing one, none or all of the emotions this weekend. 🫶🏽

The Babys -“Isn’t It Time” This is a song that was performed by the English group The Babys in 1977 and was released on their album Broken Heart. Isn’t It Time” was not written by members of the group but by bass guitarist Jack Conrad along with Ray Kennedy. The recording by The Babys begins with piano performed by Michael Corby and moves into a vocal performance by John Waite.
