I’ve wallpapered a lot of rooms in my house, and some friends’ houses too. 😜 Some tips: Traditional pasted is easier than peel and stick. Use very sharp razor blades and change them often. Watch some tutorials on corner cuts and trim rather than wrap inside corners. Have you tried wallpapering?! Best. Decision. EVER!!! As soon as we started planning to turn this porch/entryway into a bootroom I just knew this would be the perfect space to attempt a wallpapered ceiling 🤗 As part of my mission to get rid of all traces of my millennial grey and white era, I tried to find a wallpaper that would work with the existing floor tiles. I love how both patterns have similar tones but then contrast between the straight and wavy lines 🤩. So yes it’s still grey (wasn’t about to rip up those tiles) but I feel like it’s a more timeless grey now 🩶. It’s completely changed how the room feels, much more cosy and welcoming - perfect for an entryway! I've been working on our hall bathroom for the last couple of weeks. While we had some surprises that took a lot longer than anticipated (hello subfloor issues), one of the highlights was getting a wallpapered look easily with paint and a stencil that's under $60! I've recently been swooning at wallpapered spaces, especially bathrooms! I quoted the project and realized it's not only expensive, but not always recommended for bathrooms with showers and baths. This bathroom gets pretty steamy when the shower is used, so learning I had another option was awesome! This is the Endless Vine (large format) stencil from @royalstencils and it was so easy to use! I love the way the leaves look with this dark moody paint color, and I'm hoping this bathroom comes together as beautifully as I've imagined! Stay tuned for the final result next week! We are so happy with how the @loveshackfancy wallpaper from @wallpops turned out in Lillie’s room. Her room has so much charm and character to it and even though it took me almost a week to get all the nooks and crannies wallpapered it was absolutely worth it! We still have a few more things to do like add a rug and a cornice above her bed but it’s getting there. Wallpapered ceilings are my newest obsession. This upstairs hallway was too dark and narrow for me to add too much to the walls but I needed some pop of color. This wallpaper I found on @amazon was even better than I imagined. Not only was the quality impressive, but this was actually the easiest peel and stick I’ve installed (and l’ve done a few). The lights! They are just as stunning in person. I knew I wanted something gold and the detail on the glass sold me. They really elevate this space. So much that Jordan even told me he feels like he’s in the hallway of a fancy hotel. 😂 Finally, hiding the attic access was a super simple DIY. I wallpapered the wood panel and used a mini $6 sample paint to cover the bright white trim. It blends right in. What do you all think? I wanted our bedroom to be a space my husband and I love to spend time in, and a space designed to bring us joy. I believe you should make your home a place that YOU love!
