I was the only eye witness to the majestic finale of this waves life this day, which makes me think; if I was not there, would this wave still have put on such a remarkably beautiful display? Of course it would have. Often I wonder if the world around me knows something that many of us struggle to comprehend, in that our real audience is not our friends, or family, or our following, but in fact it’s an audience of one. Yes, one day we are to give an account to an audience of just one; standing alone before an almighty God. Perhaps my life is not so different from a wave; I travel a long way to stand up in my prime, put on my very best display only to subside back into the depths of where i came. But in the end it doesn’t matter if I was a big wave, or I was small, or I was seen by anyone at all, what matters is whether I knew who I was standing up for.. 🌊🙌🏼 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” - Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬.
