Also, a very young Robert Downey Jr. appears as Ian, one of the school bullies, years before becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. And the theme song? That unforgettable synth-rock energy came from Oingo Boingo, fronted by Danny Elfman, who would later become one of the most famous film composers in Hollywood. 🕊️ A small note of respect: Bill Paxton’s performance as Chet remains one of the funniest and most unhinged older-brother roles in 80s teen cinema.
