The Lumineers started at Ramsey High in New Jersey. Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites were students there more than 20 years ago. We went to see this concert with two New Jerseyans who were at high school down the road. It’s like Wes and Jem were at Plumstead and you were at Pinelands and maybe you competed against them in shotput at The Triangular sports day. Or not, if you were older. But still, they invited us backstage. No they DIDN’T. But the concert was fab. The opening acts were Vance Joy and Chance Peña and The Lumineers brought them onstage to perform some of the songs. It was a great night out amongst girls in prairie skirts, cowboy boots and flower crowns. Apparently that’s Lumineers concert uniform.
