Was this you last night too? 😂 As a millennial, this Matchbox 20 “3AM” song always pops into my head when we spring forward, and our clocks make the magical jump. I do LOVE this time of year though, when go back to the longer days. It would be nice if we could keep Daylight Saving Time year-round to not have to make the adjustment. I know one of the biggest arguments for keeping the “fall back” period is to make sure it’s bright outside for the kids waiting for the bus during the winter, which makes sense. In the UK the clocks go forward on Sunday 29th March 2026, which means 1am becomes 2am. If your baby usually wakes around 5am, that may suddenly become closer to 6am by the clock, which for many families feels like a big win. The good news is you don’t need to overcomplicate this change. Most babies adjust within a few days. You can either gradually shift the schedule over a few days, or simply keep everything the same and let their body clock adjust naturally. This can also be a great opportunity to reset early mornings.
