Started my gym arc last week & thought it’d be fun to make a series tackling the basic challenges I face 😆 Part 1–AirPods or headphones while working out?? Which team are you on? 🤔🏋🏻‍♀️ I haven’t done proper gym work outs since my varsity badminton days in university haha. I never liked the idea of going to the gym before cuz it was… boring tbh LOL I much rather play sports & have that team bonding 🥹 But as we get older, it feels harder to get people together to exercise. Unless you join an adults sport league or regular classes with friends/fam, the gym seems to be your best option to get in a work out without having to rely on anyone 😅 I’ve tried doing at-home workouts too, but sometimes I just need to get out and touch grass LOL wfh life keeps me hibernated like a polar bear at times 🙈 There’s a new gym that opened near me & it’s super spacious and beautiful! I forgot how nice it was to just be in an environment where everyone’s working hard for themselves. It felt really motivating ☺️ Also the massage chairs there are blessed LOL tried the hydro massage for the first time bahaha & they have ones that massage your arms/legs too!! Anyway, now I’m on a mission to put together some cute gym outfits 😂 It’s like when you’re playing an MMO and your character looks cool, so you wanna spend more time training to level up.
