Comment PLANS to build your own ultimate workbench. Complete with: ✓ flip top miter saw so you can use the miter saw when you need it, but keep it out of the way when you don't ✓ storage drawers and shelves ✓ scrap wood storage ✓ clamp storage ✓ spot for an air compressor or shop vac ✓ pencil holders You can also easily modify the plans to add a table saw as well where the large storage shelf is. We personally don't like having a table saw integrated because: 1. We rarely use the table saw 2. I don't want to work on the table saw and worry about dropping screws into the throat. Instead, we would MUCH prefer having a separate table saw cart that's the same height as the workbench. The workbench can be used as an outfeed table, without the annoyance of the table saw being integrated into the workbench. If you're short of space, you can just make the workbench shorter and then your workbench and table saw stand would take up the same room as having it in one. #diyworkbench

Okay, let’s get real honest 😏 This workbench functions exactly as I intended. But that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have… more. I’ve been asked if other tools could be integrated into the workbench—yes, of course. But when you add, something else needs to be changed or taken away. And just one thing? No. I’d actually add a handful of things—but it would have to be a NEW workbench. That’s why I’m working on a new design, which would allow for more tools and versatile storage for different tools and equipment.
