Which switch is right for you? When I first started developing my clicky keychain, I tried a bunch of different switches. I chose the blue gateron switches because they felt and sounded the best.

But I know some of you need something a little more discreet so you can fidget in public without bothering other people. In this video, you can hear the differences between each switch type. Creamy and silent switches are linear type switches so keep in mind that there is no tactile bump for those.

It's switch swap Sunday! Ok, that's not really a thing, but maybe it should be. Today's board is the @akkogear Gem01, a 75% aluminum keyboard with a ball-catch case and fun gem-inspired RGB corners. The stock switches are actually pretty good, but since I've been on a tactile kick lately, I knew they needed to be swapped for something snappier. I went with the Wingtree Qingyan switches from @unikeyboardsofficial and they felt like the perfect fit. Huge thanks to @kemovekeyboard for sending their P10 v1 2-in-1 switch and keycap puller. The new and improved switch puller is a total game changer for quickly pulling switches without a lot of effort. The 4 prongs and push button release turn a tedious, sometimes uncomfortable process into something actually enjoyable. Shooting switches into a bag or switch container is so satisfying!
