One of the first things I wanted to attempt with my new laser was cutting out components for my wallets, with the stitch holes included. My thoughts were I could take the wallet pieces straight off the laser bed and go straight to stitching them up. I created the stitch lines in Adobe Illustrator and then brought everything into the XTOOL Creative Space software. I was able to add the logo for @jbealfinefurniture and started cutting out the pieces. Total time was less than five minutes start to finish. With the stitch holes perfectly aligned already, it was easy to clamp it in the stitching pony and get to work! The edges of the wallet are almost perfectly smooth right away, with just some light sanding or burnishing they will be smooth as can be! This is a great application for the XTOOL S1 laser. I can quickly make parts for any of our wallet designs and include custom logos with ease. This really opens up some new possibilities for us and I can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish with such a sweet machine!
