i spoke with 20+ founders last night at YCombinator party, and here's 3 tips for getting into YC by real YC founders 1. stop working on your application - YC cares about your team and talent, not whether you have the best video or application. make sure that you bring out your personality and ability to pivot, it's not a college essay 2. have a co founder - back when sam altman was a yc partner, he literally said they prefer cofounder and would recommend people spending 20% of their time looking for a good fit 3. show your risk appetite - every founder at the party had such an interesting background (dropping out of high school, leaving korea with nothing to go to silicon valley) I'll be posting videos of my interviews with the YC founders, stay tuned for more! @ycombinator #YCombinator #Startup #Entrepreneurship #SiliconValley #SanFrancisco #YC #Founder
