Robert here, today we got the BCA stash 40 Backpack. I have tested this pack with all of its features in the Backcountry Splitboarding here in WA, in just about every condition you can think of. I have even tested this pack out on some day hikes. In this video I will go over what I love about this pack and why it is my daily driver. 🧥 If your Gore-Tex jacket’s got down insulation, toss in a couple of tennis balls when drying, they’ll help fluff it back up. 
🌡️Always dry on LOW heat, and once it’s dry, give it another 20 minutes to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating.
 🚿A front-loading washer is best for washing outdoor gear… I just don’t have one 😅 Got questions? Drop them in the comments :) Happy to help!

Hybrid ski touring binding compatibility. It’s not as simple as you might think but luckily a lot of boots are moving over to grip walk soles which makes life a lot easier. BTW way AFD stands for anti friction device and it’s the plate that the toe of your ski boot sits on. Some slide side to side and help with lateral toe release and some are just slippery plastic. You can get pre-release or miss represented din settings with rubber touring soles or of the height isn’t properly set which is why if you want the ultimate safety they getting a hybrid binding with a sliding AFD and a grip walk sole is the best solution but a touring boot is the best for climbing and scrambling. #skiing #backcountryskiing #skitouring

The last one oops 😅 This is the first year we have skied without a backpack and it has truly made our days on the mountain 10x more comfortable! On resort days we don’t usually bring much because we can always go back to the car for lunch or grab water at one of the lodges on the mountain BUT there’s a handful of things I never ski without and that’s where our pockets come in! Most ski kits have TONS of pockets and utilizing those for storing our essentials has a lot easier than I thought. SO this is everything I carry in my pockets on a resort ski day 👇🏼 - ski pass - ID - cell phone - pocket pretzels (or other snack) - goggles wipe - @rockytalkies radio - hand warmers - hair tie - @instanthydration electrolytes - AirPods - snowboard tool - aquaphor - keys - the occasional fireball shot 😁 Let me know if there’s anything else you bring or would add to the list!!
