Here’s how 📚⬇️ Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a game-changer, no inventory, no shipping, Amazon manages everything for you! Step 1.) Write your book! If your not sure what to write about you can get ChatGPT to help you create a list of the top selling book ideas in your niche. - just make sure you choose a topic that you know, like and understand so you can drive traffic to your book to generate sales and answer any questions people might have. Step 2.) Go to Canva (you can use the free version but the paid version is a lot better and not expensive) open an E-book template: this will be perfectly formatted for saving as a PDF and uploading to KDP. Step 3.) Make sure you ask someone to proof read your book - Canva does not spell check! Step 4.) Create a FREE account on Amazon KDP and follow the instructions CAREFULLY. - make sure you add your key words and categorize your book correctly so Amazon can rank your listing properly. Step 5.) choose your pricing and publish your book. Step 6.) PROMOTE YOUR BOOK! This is the most impotent step! You absolutely must add A+ content (free to add within the marketing section on KDP) to optimize your listing; you also need to drive as much traffic as possible, you can do this for FREE by utilizing social media. - I have done this many times, and you can do it too! It took me over 6 months as a content creator to figure this out… and now every time I see another creator making this mistake, I have to tell them. Because so many creators are leaving money on the table with Amazon affiliate links. And I’m not here to gatekeep. These are the things I wish someone had explained to me when I started. 1️⃣ Always check Amazon Creator Connections first If there’s something you’re planning to buy on Amazon, check Creator Connections first. Brands run limited-time campaigns where they offer higher commissions for creators sharing their products, sometimes 2–5X the normal rate. My rule: only promote products with great reviews and products you’ve actually tried and loved yourself. 2️⃣ Amazon Bonus Programs Once you start generating consistent revenue, Amazon may invite you to their tiered bonus programs, where you earn extra payouts for hitting revenue targets. I didn’t even know these existed when I started and was SHOKED when I got invited to participate. 3️⃣ Stop being afraid to post your links Creators tell me they don’t want to share links because it feels “too salesy.” But people come to Instagram to discover products. And here’s the crazy part: Even if someone clicks your link and doesn’t buy that product, if they add anything else to their Amazon cart and check out, you still earn a commission. So stop being afraid to share the link. 4️⃣ I saved the best trick for last… deep linking This is the trick that helped me 5X my commissions. Most creators just use the Amazon affiliate link. But I run my links through a deep linker (I personally use URLgenius). A normal link opens Amazon in the Instagram browser. A deep link opens the product directly inside the Amazon app. Less friction means more completed purchases and more commission for you!
