Download maps, tickets and playlists offline. * Cash is still king in many places. ATMs exist, but don’t depend on them. * Carry motion sickness tablets – the sea can get dramatic without warning. * Weather changes plans faster than you can say “Radhanagar Beach” – keep buffer days. * Pack reef-safe sunscreen. The coral deserves protection too. * Water activities get booked out quickly – plan scuba/snorkeling early. * Don’t expect fancy nightlife – expect peaceful sunsets instead. * Permits are needed for some islands – keep ID proofs handy at all times. * Flights to Port Blair get delayed often – avoid tight onward connections. * Footwear matters: flip-flops > heels, always. * Respect the ecosystem – no shells, corals or sand as souvenirs. * Sunburn is real – hats and cover-ups are not optional. * Lastly, slow down and do nothing for a bit – that’s the real Andamans vibe. * Sun sets very early on the islands so be an early bird. * Weather changes faster than you can imagine. * Andamans airport has a strict no photography rule. Try walking with fins on land 😆 Over time, I’ve learnt to carry my fins and put them on with ninja moves once I’m half submerged in water (ninja because this klutz would realllly struggle with it initially!) But I was getting some shots with my banginnnnn’ new dive equipment from @thepurpleoctopus.in and I had to try walking in my yummy yellow fins 😂 Not pretty, eh! My wetsuit is @maresjustaddwater Fins are Tusa Kail from @tusadiving.india @tusadiving Can’t wait to show you my BCD in a better angle next! Right from the moment we stepped into #Havelockisland , #Andamanislands , our friend @ajay_k_havelock made sure everything was just perfect for us. Right from organising the best room with the best view, to planning a fabulous champagne popping and cake cutting surprise in the middle of the ocean..with such fabulous decor and cuisine made us smile for miles:) .. #Breakfasts like these were the best 😍. .
