Let’s talk about anxiety symptoms 👇🏻 ➡️ First — it’s important to go to your doctor to get any concerning symptoms checked out to make sure there isn’t a medical explanation for them ➡️ Anxiety symptoms are part of the chronic stress response that your body is stuck in. When your body gets out of the hyper-stimulated and sensitized state, these symptoms gradually start to go away on their own ➡️ When you have an overactive stress response, your body is constantly on-guard and sensitized, so it never has a chance to get back down to homeostasis and your baseline stress levels ➡️ A huge part of what keeps the symptoms alive is your response and resistance to them - your body keeps producing physical symptoms because when you respond to it with fear, tension and resistance.. it communicates the message to your brain to keep fighting off the perceived threat (which leads to MORE physical symptoms in your body) 🧠 🔥 P.S. Are you ready to overcome your anxiety symptoms? The Symptom Survival Guide is your ultimate blueprint to understand how to get yourself out of this cycle once and for all 👏🏻 This guide will give you the step-by-step framework along with tangible tools and strategies to recover from your anxiety and overcome the physical symptoms so that you can finally get long-term relief in your life 👉🏻 Comment the word SYMPTOM and I’ll send you the link to get this guide! If you struggle with death anxiety, you are not alone 🩷 One of the first memories I have with death anxiety is going into my parents room at night and asking my mom if I was going to die It was so scary to feel this way as a child. Not knowing why I was having these thoughts. Not knowing what to do about it. Not knowing if anyone else felt this way too. And looking back I have empathy for my younger self who had to struggle with these big feelings all alone This topic doesn’t get talked about enough! And I want to start this open dialogue and create a safe space for you to express and share how you’re feeling 🫶🏻 And I also want you to understand that you CAN get to a better place with death anxiety. You don’t have to suffer with this fear for the rest of your life 💭What’s one small step you can take right now to get out of your head and bring yourself back to the present moment, so you can fully engage with the world around you? If you worry and ruminate about it 24/7 and it’s stopping you from being able to live and enjoy your life, then my new masterclass on how to overcome death anxiety will be perfect for you Comment “ODA” and I’ll send you the details! #anxiety #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietyattack #anxious #anxietysupport #anxiousmind #anxietyrecovery #anxietyproblems #anxietyattacks #anxiousthoughts #anxietyisreal #anxietytips #anxiouspeople #anxietyfighter #anxietywarrior #anxietyhelp #anxietysucks #anxietymanagement #anxiousness #anxietyfree #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthadvocate #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthrecovery #mentalhealthisimportant #mentalhealthtips

I felt so helpless.. I just wanted to help him. Everyday was an emotional rollercoaster. He was never happy. Our entire house was walking on eggshells, wondering when the next tantrum was going to hit. At such a young age he shouldn’t struggle like this.. why wasn’t he happy? Why was he crying daily? Why is he falling behind in school? Why is he so mean? Why is he always so angry & irritable? Why doesn’t he sleep? Those are the questions I asked myself. Why can I not help him? That’s when I decided enough was enough. It was time to get to the root cause of the issue. He didn’t deserve this. It was breaking my heart. I discovered he could have a serotonin & dopamine imbalance. He couldn’t help it. It was internal. He couldn’t help how he felt or acted. He couldn’t ever explain it to me. I started giving him a natural premade blend. Within 30 minutes he was so much happier. He was smiling again! Overtime he was thriving in school, calmer, not crying daily, regulated his emotions, sleeping better and finally himself. If this sounds like your child, drop “kids” and I’ll send what we used. Make sure you’re following me or the message will be blank! Natural plant based, third party tested, backed by science and clinical studies. There is hope for you and your child and I’m here to help. #fyp SEO behavior issues , kids , children , #emotional #kids #children anxious #anxiousness #natural natural solutions, happy kids , crying #crying , serotonin , #serotonin #dopamine parents , #parents

When my anxiety was at its’ peak I had so many intense symptoms that I didn’t realize were from my anxiety • I thought something was physically wrong with me and my body. I didn’t know why it was happening so I would constantly search for answers and hope that I could find anyone else that experienced it too • When I was able to finally learn and understand WHAT was happening and WHY, it felt like a huge lightbulb moment and a huge sense of relief • Most importantly, it was a huge part of my recovery journey - being able to finally label all of my symptoms as anxiety. With time, I learned to not be afraid of those symptoms anymore. And when I stopped fearing them, they gradually went away on their own • #anxiety #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietysupport #anxious #anxiousmind #anxietyattack #anxietyproblems #anxietyrecovery #anxiousthoughts #anxietyattacks #anxietyisreal #anxiouspeople #anxietyfighter #anxietytips #anxietywarrior #anxietyquote #anxietyhelp #anxietymanagement #anxietyfree #anxietydisorders #anxietysymptoms #anxiousness #anxietytherapy #anxietytherapist #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthsupport

In the moments where the symptoms pop up, your brain is always going to try to convince you that you need to DO something. And one of the hardest parts of recovery is not doing. It's slowing down, pausing, and allowing yourself to make healthy decisions about the actions you take, rather than listening to that part of your brain that is so loud and throwing all of the worst case scenarios your way. Does it feel like you need a cart? Sure. But do you really need a cart? Does it feel like you should stay towards the front of the store just to be safe? Sure. But do you really need to? Leaning into discomfort and uncertainty is super hard, but it's also super worth it! If you want to learn how to start approaching the symptoms, your thoughts, and even panic in a healthier way, check out my masterclass on overcoming the symptoms! 💫

Trust me. I get. Because this was all me. Feeling constantly on edge. Exhausted but not able shut my brain off. Trying everything under the sun to lose weight without success! And not to mention the chipmunk cheeks!! “I’m young it’s just my baby face - I’ll grow out of it” It took me almost 8 years to realize this was NOT NORMAL! I was so inflamed and was holding on to so much water. I hit rock bottom in 2021. I was SO TIRED of feeling tired. I decided enough was enough and promised myself I’m going to do whatever it takes … no matter how long it takes to feel better. And so I did. I just started. Bit by bit, step by step I did what I needed to feel better. I finally listened to what my body was screaming at me about for so long! Fast forward to today - I am the happiest I have felt. My energy has improved, brain fog gone, anxiety has gone down sooo much, sleep is 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽. If you’re interested, drop a ❤️ and I’ll send you 5 of my daily habits that resulted in massive changes. #healthhack #healnaturally #cortisolcontrol #cortisol #holistichealing #naturalhealthtips #stressreduction #hormonebalance #stressedout #anxiousness #brainhealth Is this you?

1,072,796

Overthinking is something that everyone can experience from time to time, but for those with anxiety it can happen much more frequently • These aren’t all the types of overthinking but I wanted to highlight some of the main types people can experience: ➡️ Worrying about the future and catastrophizing all the worst case scenarios ➡️ Ruminating about the past including past conversations, situations, events, or mistakes you have made ➡️ Indecisiveness and having difficulty making even the smallest choices and decisions in your life because you worry about making the wrong one ➡️ Mind reading: you think you can predict what other people are thinking or feeling about you, so you may believe someone is mad at you when they don’t respond to your text right away • Here are some tips to manage overthinking: ➡️ If you find yourself overthinking, do a brain dump and write down all your worries or speak them out loud. Don’t let them loop around in your mind over and over. Writing things down can help your brain process things differently ➡️ Catch yourself when you are overthinking and redirect your focus to other things or back to what you were doing before you started overthinking. Ask yourself - “is there anything I can do about this situation right now? Am I able to solve this problem or find a solution?” ➡️ Focus on the here and now. Give yourself some space before reacting to a situation. And then give yourself permission to come back to this worry later on in your day and you can even schedule a “worry time” where you dedicate 15 minutes a day just for worrying. This can help you to process your thoughts if you want or need to do that way you aren’t worrying all day long ➡️ Don’t respond to all the what if thoughts that come up 💭 • #anxiety #anxietyrelief #anxietyawareness #anxietysupport #anxious #anxiousmind #anxietyattack #anxietyproblems #anxietyrecovery #anxiousthoughts #anxietyattacks #anxietyisreal #anxiouspeople #anxietyfighter #anxietytips #anxietywarrior #anxietyquote #anxietyhelp #anxietymanagement #anxietyfree #anxietydisorders #anxietysymptoms #anxiousness #anxietytherapy #anxietytherapist #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthsupport

You think it’s ‘just’ your personality. Normal behaviors that you just live with. A DIAGNOSIS that you’ve been given when they actually could all be signs of… HIGH CORTISOL 😮‍💨 You spend time blaming yourself when ITS NOT! First follow me @allison_jeannnn for all things cortisol and mental health. It’s time to get out of fight or flight and start feeling the way you were meant too! So, high cortisol actually looks like⤵️ 🛑anxiety, including nighttime/morning anxiety 🛑racing thoughts 🛑difficulty falling/staying asleep 🛑restless 🛑struggle to focus on one task 🛑constantly driven, fast-paced all day & talking at hyperspeed 🛑sitting/relaxing is uncomfortable 🛑easily angered or irritated, quick to react, snapping & poor patience Our body’s tend to OVER- respond when our cortisol is high, which results in being triggered by little things. A simple text or email shouldn’t trigger us, but it does! And this is something that you could be dealing with for YEARS. If you’ve been conditioned to live in fight or flight mode (hello to all my people pleasing, perfectionist, high achievers), you probably haven’t even realized you’re in this stage. It’s just your norm. A big part of healing from this stage is doing the inner work, but you don’t need to spend months talking things out - you can reprogram & change behaviors at lightning speed AND build the nervous system’s capacity to feel safe in just BEING. We can’t heal if we don’t learn new patterns, & it can be HARD to break them, but simple tools help so much! If you’re ready to HEAL: Drop a HEAL in the comments or DMs for details of my #1 cortisol lowering tip that make starting so simple 🫶🏻

I am a planner. I am the type of person who writes down everything months in advance. So obviously, I like to have control. I like to know what’s going to happen! There was a period in my life where I would describe myself as having “clenched” hands towards my dreams. I wanted to do everything on my own to achieve my goals…but I found myself more exhausted and let-down in the process. Until I finally gave it all to God, I felt peace. I finally felt MORE excited for what God had in store for me…even if it had nothing to do with my original “plan.” I’ve realized more and more that following Jesus is a true adventure! God is a better story-writer than we’ll ever be 🫶✨ . . . #godisinthisstory #godisincontrol #godisgood #faithinspired #faithingod #godisgreater #anxiousness #faithoverfear #faithoverworry #womenintheword #hertrueworth #faithreels #jesusreels #prayer #prayerispowerful #prayerlife #christian #christianblog
