✅ Checklist Before Buying a Security / Smart Door Lock 🔸1. Unlocking Options •Does it offer multiple ways to unlock? (Fingerprint, PIN, RFID card, Mobile App/Wi-Fi, Mechanical key backup). •Make sure there’s always a manual key option for emergencies. 🔸2. Build Quality & Materials •Look for stainless steel, brass, or zinc alloy (resist rust & weather). •Avoid light plastic-heavy models for main doors. Check if it has anti-corrosion coating (important in humid Indian weather). 🔸3. Locking Mechanism Strength •Prefer mortise locks over rim/surface locks — they sit inside the door, harder to tamper with. •Multi-bolt systems (2–3 bolts minimum) give stronger security than single-latch locks. •If digital: look for cam / deadbolt system inside. 🔸4. Power & Backup •Runs on batteries — check battery life (good models last 6–12 months). •Must have low battery indicator. Emergency power backup (via USB or 9V battery) is a must. 🔸5. Safety Features •Tamper alarm: alerts if someone tries to force open or break it. •Auto-lock: door locks itself when closed (so you never forget). •Child lock / double lock: prevents kids from opening it accidentally. •Fire rating: some locks are tested for performance under heat. 🔸6. Digital Features •Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / App control: unlock from your phone. •Temporary PINs / one-time codes: useful for maids, guests, deliveries. •Activity log: see who entered and when. •Video door phone / smart home integration (optional but highly useful). 🔸7. Budget & Features •₹5k–10k: Entry level (basic smart with PIN/fingerprint, limited features). •₹10k–18k: Mid-range (multi-access, better build, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi). •₹18k+: Premium (mortise, multi-bolt, smart home integration, higher finish). 🔸8. Brand reliability •Go for trusted brands (Godrej, Yale, Dorset, Ozone, Qubo, Lavna, Atomberg). •Avoid unbranded cheap imports that may fail within a year. ✨Final Advice: Think of it this way a smart lock isn’t just a gadget, it’s your home’s first guard. Choose one that balances convenience, safety, and durability. Don’t overspend on features you’ll never use, but don’t compromise on backup, tamper alerts, and build quality. #smartdoorlock

This is how a hacker can access your house without leaving a trace. Obviously this was done with the permission of the home owner. Stay safe!

This is how hackers take over your PC A large portion of cyber attacks begin with a seemingly harmless file being executed. In this content, I demonstrated in real time how a backdoor is created, how the attacker machine connects to it, and what becomes possible once the connection is established. 👨🏻💻⚙️ When the connection is established, an attacker can: 🖥️ View system information 📂 View / download files 📸 Capture screenshots ⌨️ Monitor keyboard input How can users protect themselves? 🚫 Do not open unknown .exe files 🛡️ Keep Antivirus + SmartScreen enabled 🧩 Use EDR security solutions ✔️ Verify the source of downloaded files and software ⚠️ This demonstration is for educational purposes only. 🚪 DOOR WON’T STAY SHUT? HERE’S THE REAL FIX If your door looks closed but keeps popping open, the lock usually isn’t the problem. In this case, the latch wasn’t lining up with the strike plate. It was off by about 1/8 of an inch, which was enough to stop the latch from fully seating. 🔧 What we did: We adjusted and shaved the strike plate slightly so the latch could drop in properly. Once the alignment was corrected, the door closed smoothly and stayed shut—no slamming, no forcing. Small adjustments like this make a big difference in security, function, and daily use. If your door isn’t latching right, don’t ignore it—it’s usually an alignment issue, not a bad lock. 📞 @locktech911 ☎️ 855 LOCKTECH Fast. Professional.
