All in a 50L backpack 😅 Links in bio! Save this for next time you pack!!📌It has taken me a YEAR to perfect this packing list. At first, it was so hard to decide how many outfits I needed and what items were essential. Like how many pairs of underwear do you bring for 120 days?! Thankfully, I’ve pretty much gotten it down to a science at this point! Not pictured: Camera (in Clay’s bag) Kindle & journal Small fanny pack Passport Garmin inReach satellite phone Shop my wardrobe & backpacking essentials! Our backpacking necessities!!🎒👇🏼 🥾HIKING BOOTS Honestly can’t imagine traveling without them! We’ve put our boots through so much that our white sneakers could never handle😅 I have the Cascade Peaks Mid from @forsakeco and LOVE them! They’re so lightweight & low profile— perfect for backpacking! 💧MICROFIBER TOWEL I initially wanted to bring a regular beach towel💀 Microfiber towels are soooo much smaller, dry quickly, and don’t hold sand. Plus we use ours as a blanket in desperate times lol. 🛍️ DRY BAGS We need these on a daily basis between boat rides, waterfall hikes, rainy days, etc. Bonus points if they have straps so you can carry them easily (we use bungee cords). We use these for our dirty clothes too! 💳 MULTIPLE CARDS We’ve met travelers who only carry one card, and that rarely has a happy ending. We always carry multiple cards and store them in multiple places in case a bag gets lost or stolen. 🔐LOCKS Lots of hostel lockers don’t come with a lock, so that’s the main time that we use ours. But they also come in handy for travel days & storing our bags! Link in bio to find these items 🔗 Whats a random item you would never travel without??⬇️ #travel #backpacking #traveltips #packingtips #inmyforsakes #fulltimetravel

Items I will not travel without💭(ad) After a year of going on backpacking trips… I can easily say these are three things. I love to have with me. A neck pillow… specifically this convertible Repleto jacket from @cotopaxi , because it doubles as a down jacket as well! It’s comfortable, convenient, and easy to travel with which I love. A mobile charger. Ask me how I got through three other international trips without a mobile charger I don’t know, but I swear my phone dies almost immediately and so this is a no-brainer. Last is a physical book… Call me crazy but I love having a book with me and feel like it really grounds me to the place that I am in. I also think you look way cooler These are three things that I personally love to have and can’t live without… What are your travel necessities? #travel #backpacking #traveltips

3 small things I keep in my hiking pack that most people forget. They weigh almost nothing but can completely save a hike. 👇 1. Leukotape — stops hotspots before they become blisters. 2. Buff / bandana — sun protection, dust protection, warmth, sweat band… basically everything. 3. Electrolytes — Fatigue? Headache? Swelling or puffiness? Electrolytes can quickly reset you. 🫶 Bonus: lip balm made for mountaineers. If you know, you know. Nothing else works quite as well. Tiny things… big difference on the trail. ✨ What’s something you always carry in your pack? #hikingtips #dayhiking #hikinggear #optoutside
