Easiest beginner-friendly bread recipe 🥖 Perfect for sandwiches or bread on the side with your pasta, steak, or salad 🙂↕️ 4 Ingredients you’ll need: 3 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp instant yeast 1½ cups warm water • Mix ingredients and let it sit at room temperature for about 3 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size. • Lightly sprinkle flour over and under the dough and shape it into a ball. • Place a sheet of parchment paper over a large bowl and spread olive oil over the paper to prevent the dough from sticking while baking. • Place the dough onto the prepared, oiled parchment paper and bowl. • Preheat the oven to 450°F with the Dutch oven inside. Let the dough rest in room temperature while the oven preheats. • Once the oven is preheated, carefully place the dough (with the parchment paper) into the hot Dutch oven and cover with the lid. • Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on. • Remove the lid and bake for another 12–15 minutes, until golden brown. • Let the bread cool for 1 hour before slicing. Mix, rise, shape, and bake in a Dutch oven. Ingredients (2 loaves) • 3 cups lukewarm water • 1 Tbsp active dry yeast (or instant yeast for faster rise) • 1½ tsp salt • 6½ cups all-purpose flour Method 1. In a large bowl, whisk water and yeast until dissolved. Stir in flour and salt until combined (dough will be sticky). 2. Cover and let rise at room temp until doubled, about 2–3 hours (or 1 hour with instant yeast). 3. Divide dough, shape into loaves, and let rest 20–40 minutes. Sticky dough is normal—add a little flour if needed. Wet hands lightly if dough sticks. 4. Preheat oven to 450°F with Dutch oven inside. Slash tops and bake: 30 minutes covered, then 10–15 minutes uncovered. 5. Cool at least 1 hour before slicing. DOMAĆI HLEB The recipe in English is in the first comment. 🤗 Napraviti "sabijen" hleb je prilično lako i imate i za njega recept na mom profilu. Ali napraviti ovakav hleb sa hrskavom koricom koji diše i miriše i koji je vazdušast iznutra, pun rupica...za to vam treba malo truda i vremena. Ja znam da je sada sve instant popularno ali da se ne lažemo...ovakav hleb se ne može meriti sa nekim brzim hlebom 💫 Biće mi drago ako odvojite vreme neke nedelje i isprobate ga sa svojom porodicom, sigurna sam da ćete biti oduševljeni. ❤️ Hleb ce uvek narasti ako stavite puno kvasca ali poenta je da bude vazdušast iznutra, a ne sabijen i tvrd. Dok sam pravila hleb od domaćeg kvasca, naučila sam neke cake koje sam primenila na ovaj hleb sa kupovnim kvascem. Prvo, morate biti nežni sa testom, ne smete ga kidati i pritiskati. Drugo-morate mu dati vremena da narasta i rwzvije balončiće iznutra. Za ovaj hleb vam je potrebno da zamesite testo od: 600gr brašna tip-400, meko 550ml tople vode 10gr svežeg kvasca ili 3-4gr suvog kašičica šećera kašičica soli Prvo razmutite šećer, vodu i kvasac pa dodajte brašno i so. Zamesite testo. Ja sam mikserom, nasatvkom koji je vidi na snimku. Mutila sam na max brzini 10ak - 15min dok testo nije počelo sa se odvaja od vangle. Nije predugo, slobodno mutite toliko. Onda prebacite u posudu ili ostabite u toj, prebacite krpu preko i ostavite 40ak min. Zatim nakvasite ruke i samo preklapajte testo kao ja, 6-7 puta pa opet neka naraste. Obavezno nakvasite ruke jer ovo testo je retko. Tako vam se neće lepiti za ruke. Posle pola sata ponovite postupak. Testo ćr svaki put biti kompaktnije i lepśe za radi. Kada je naraslo posle drugog puta, pobrašnite dobro radnu površinu i prebacite testo. Nakvasite ruke pa ga razvucite po radnoj površini. Zatim ruke osušite, pobrašnite i polako urolajte veknu. Prebacite je na pleh i ostavite da naraste pola sata. Za to vreme na dno rerne ubacite manju posudu sa vodom i ukljucite je na 250 da se zagreje. Kada je hleb narastao, prebacite ga u rernu i pecite na max 15min, a onda smanjite rernu na 180stepeni i pecite još pola sata. To je to 🤗 #bread #breadmaking #domacihleb #hleb #kraljevo

Basic Homemade Bread 🍞 🍞 Dough Ingredients: 1. 450g (3 cups) bread flour 2. 8g (2 teaspoons) instant yeast 3. 6g (1 teaspoon) fine sea salt 4. 35g (2,5 tablespoons) granulated sugar 5. 250g (1 cup) whole milk 6. 1 whole egg (50-54g) 7. 42g (3 tablespoons) unsalted butter 🍞 Instructions: 1. Knead the dough by mixing the dried ingredients together first. Then add egg, start kneading. Pour milk slowly while kneading. When the ingredients have come together, add butter spoon by spoon and keep kneading until the dough is smooth, nothing sticks to your hands or the mixing bowl. 2. Proof the dough for 1 hour or more until rises at least double in size. 3. Punch and knead for a couple of minutes to release air bubbles. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a large rectangle. Then tightly roll it into a tube that fits in your loaf pan. I use 9”x5” pan. 4. Proof again for 60 minutes or more until the volume has increased at least double in size. 5. Brush egg wash and bake at 350F ~ 180C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
