Another unreleased album by the greatest🙌 I went and saw Levity and Wooli the other week and finally started to feel better since I’ve been on the struggle bus lately. “Balloonerism” by #macmiller review

I’m not a big fan of this project. Sure it was nice to hear Mac again, but the project itself has more lows than highs. It’s got this laid-back, jazzy vibe which is not new in his music. Yet this one’s different. Some songs feel repetitive and lack the punch that other projects have. The standout song is Funny Papers - great piano melody with some existential lyrics. Sad yet beautiful record. Honorable mention is DJ’s Chord Organ with SZA. Another high of the album. The longer you hear it the better it gets. For sure it’s the type of beat that you would hear in Gorillaz projects. Overall ”Balloonerism” is a good tribute to the talent we lost too soon. It’s an album that fans might appreciate but it won’t be a fan-favorite. I rate it 3.3/5 ⭐️ Do you agree? 👀
